Hydrus Valve

n.  in astronomy, a constellation of the Southern Hemisphere. Lies due south of the bright star Achernar in Eridanus. A south circumpolar constellation that terminates within a few degrees of the south celestial pole. Etymology: Hydrus Latin, from Greek hudros, the water snake was the primeval god of fresh water.
